ORIGINAL ART to buy, publish, or exhibit: contemporary figure, abstract, and still life fine art by Sharon Hudson.

My art and photography have been published by major international publishers, as well as small clients, since 1989. A number of authors have chosen my art work for their book covers, and my art has appeared in fine art calendars, greeting cards, magazine covers, and other publications. My photography has been represented by Corbis Images, and my art by Pomegranate Publications and Oxford University Press.

The fine art images are available in slides (35mm) and in digital files in resolutions adequate for hard copy reproductions up to a size of about 10" x 14" or greater, and many are available in 4" x 5" positives. Higher-resolution digital files or larger photographic positives or negatives may be available upon request.

The photographic images are available as 35mm slides and/or digital files adequate for reproductions of substantial size, often well over 20 x 30 inches. Most are fine-grained, taken with Kodachrome 64 or various ASA100-speed slide films.

Prices vary by contract, purpose, and volume. To provide a general idea, use rights for the cover of a paperback book with a small distribution and no other rights is about $300 to $500.
